TAC currently owns and operates 36 well-maintained long haul transports—each equipped with on-board GPS satellite technology.
We utilize state of the art, NextGen strap technology exclusively, and offer a capacity of up to 10 passenger cars and or light trucks. Our fleet is up-to-date with current transport technology; the fleet has an average age of 2.3 years of age. TAC owns a state of the art repair and maintenance facility, keeping down cost, improving preventative maintenance, and reducing down time.
TAC employs over 37 CDL Driving Professionals and is the carrier of choice for many OEMs including Nissan, Volkswagen, Toyota, Honda and others. We own and operate 36 auto transport carriers. All are manufactured by Peterbilt and equipped with Cottrell low-rail trailers utilizing soft-tie technology.

Service Areas
Tennessee Auto Carriers services Mid America from the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic seaboard, and from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes. Our corporate offices, main terminals, and maintenance and inspection facilities are in Readyville, Tennessee.

Our Growth
- 2007: Tennessee Auto Carriers is founded and purchases first truck, receives authorization to operate as a Federal Motor Carrier in the Continental United States.
- 2014: Tennessee Auto Carriers (TAC) reaches 15 trucks owned and operated.
- 2017: TAC surpasses a total of 100,000+ OEM vehicles transported with a Damage free record of 99.96%.
- 2018: TAC is certified as a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB)
- 2018: 36 Peterbilt/Cottrell trucks owned and operated.
- 2018: TAC receives the Presidents Award from WW Solutions Inc.
